Running
Northbrook is an exceptional community with a rich history and a unique identity that we have every reason to be proud of. But I see growing concerns about our direction, a sense that we're losing some of what makes Northbrook special, and declining trust in Village leadership.
With significant economic challenges ahead, we will face difficult decisions where even the best available choice may be unpopular. That's precisely why residents need to trust the people making those decisions.
Throughout my career, I've believed effective leadership starts with listening, understanding the problems we're trying to solve, communicating candidly, and taking responsibility for results. It also means learning from those results and continually improving.
We are all neighbors. We won't always agree, but we should be able to work together to shape Northbrook's future.
I'm running for Village Trustee because I believe my leadership experience and approach to solving problems can help make that happen.

I'm a husband, father of three, longtime Northbrook resident, former technology executive, and active community volunteer.
My wife, Dorie, and I have called Northbrook home since 2004, and her family's roots here go back to the 1940s. I hope our family will continue to call Northbrook home for generations to come.
In early 2025, I started Engage Northbrook to encourage greater civic participation and more informed conversations about the issues facing our Village.
I spent more than 25 years in senior leadership roles at Aon Hewitt and Paylocity, building and leading global organizations of more than 1,000 people. As Chief Product & Technology Officer at Paylocity, I helped guide the company through a period of significant growth.
Today, I serve as President of GBN Jr. Spartan Football & Cheer, coach youth football, participate on the advisory board of the Glenbrook North Incubator program, and provide selective consulting to technology companies.
Some of the challenges ahead.
Change is inevitable and necessary, but it should enhance our identity and keep what makes us special, not replace it.

First, agree on the problem we need to solve.
Define the problem together.
Listen to different perspectives, establish what we agree on, and get clear about the problem before arguing over solutions.
Work through the choices.
Evaluate alternatives and tradeoffs openly. When we disagree, find where our understanding or priorities diverge.
Explain, own, improve.
Make decisions transparently, take responsibility for the results, and use what we learn to do better.
